Description

Are you an experienced Designer with a creative Manufacturing background – there is room for you in this busy in-house Design Department. Ladieswear or Kidswear Design experience with a reputable Design Centre/Manufacturer or Retailer essential.

Responsibilities

• Ability to communicate with the Buyers by providing new and exciting ideas on an ongoing basis.
• Working closely with the Sample Room to issue styles ensuring to give the consumer the trendiest product for the season.
• Providing an effective day-to-day service to the business with a particular emphasis on submitting samples for fit & seal approval, sourcing trims both locally & internationally.
• Meet the critical path deadlines to ensure the efficient sample development.

Requirements

Qualifications: Relevant Degree/Diploma.
Experience: 5+ years of Design experience in a similar Fashion Retail or Creative Manufacturing environment.
Additional: • Design skills with experience in – InDesign and Photoshop, as well as CAD skills with strong strength in product. Position located in Cape Town.
