Join this lovely Cape Town Design Centre (their Head Office is in Durban) as a Junior Designer/CAD Artist with at least 2 – 3 years experience within a Design Centre environment, someone meticulous with a brilliant eye for trends. A junior position offering scope for growth, good working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Constant trend research.
• Compile ovs instore images from Merchandisers buying trip.
• Trend presentation preparation and presenting to customer. Assisting the Merchandiser.
• Buyers briefing with the Merchandiser.
• New developments.
• Cadding, briefing, prepare & send all swatches & all reference samples with Swift brief to factories (hand compiled parcel to admin (including packaging manual).
• Load Buyer briefs onto Swift.
• Updating packaging booklets/manuals every season.
• CAD overview updates by style/program/customer.
• Checking of factory samples & lab dips against the brief (Merchandiser to be shown).
• Store visits to compile instore images & collect comp shop images.

Requirements

Qualifications: Design Diploma/Degree.
Experience: 2 – 3 years within a Design Centre environment.
