Merchandiser – Johannesburg

Description

A dynamic opportunity available for an experienced, results driven Local/Imports Merchandiser who has had exposure in Clothing Imports. SA CITIZENS ONLY.

Responsibilities

• New product development (denim & fashion styles).
• Main point of contact between clients and factories.
• Costing and negotiating prices with suppliers and customers.
• Quality assurance and managing of all pre-production and sales samples, trims and approvals.
• Co-ordination with factories and suppliers to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
• Order and approval tracking.
• Reviewing external inspection and fabric test reports prior to bulk shipment.
• Ordering and managing of all local trims and inputs.
• Manage shipping and local logistic schedules.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Experience:
Additional: • Relevant Degree/Diploma. • 4 – 8 years experience in the above. • Definite Imports and Local experience as a Clothing Merchandiser. Position located in Johannesburg.
