Retail Planner (Fashion Retail) – Cape Town New!

Are you interested in furthering your career in Retail Planning in Fashion Accessories with a successful, smaller Retailer?  2 – 5 years Retail Planning experience required. (Atlantic Seaboard).

Responsibilities

• Achieve turnover, gross profit budgets, stock budgets and related KPI’s.
• Deliver and implement post seasonal analysis, strategic planning, range & assortment planning.
• Accurately and continuously budgeting and forecasting in order to achieve sales plan and maximize profitability.
• Accurately and continuously forecasting to achieve sales plans, departmental growth and profitability.
• Supporting and guiding team members with regards to efficient administration as well as the accurate allocation of stock to ensure that the right stock gets to the right store by the right time.
• Liaising with stores & suppliers.

Requirements

Qualifications: Relevant University Degree or Tertiary Qualification.
Experience: 2 – 5 years’ retail planning or experience with Fashion Retailer essential.
Additional: • Enthusiasm for retail. • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure. • A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work. • Strong business acumen and merchant thinking. • Good people- and communication skills. • High energy levels.
