HIRING: Sourcing/Imports Merchandisers – Johannesburg

A leading Johannesburg-based Denim & Fashion Imports Agency is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Imports Fashion Merchandiser/Co-ordinator with 5+ years’ experience in the apparel industry. SA CITIZENS ONLY.

Responsibilities

• Drive new product development across Denim & Fashion categories.
• Act as key liaison between clients and factories.
• Manage costing, price negotiations & supplier relationships.
• Oversee QA, pre-production samples, trims & approvals.
• Track orders through the full production cycle.
• Review inspection reports & fabric tests pre-shipment.
• Manage sourcing of local trims and inputs.

Requirements

Qualifications: Relevant Fashion Degree/Diploma.
Experience: 4 – 7 years’ proven Imports Merchandising experience.
Additional: • Strong imports & local sourcing knowledge. • Confident, solutions-focused & thrives in fast-paced environments.
